Overview
Responsible end-of-life vessel transactions
Ocean Vista Shipbroker acts as a ship recycling broker, connecting shipowners who are considering the disposal of end-of-life vessels with suitable cash buyers and recycling yards. We support transparent communication and commercially informed negotiation throughout the deal.
India — and Alang in Gujarat in particular — is one of the world’s largest ship recycling destinations. Being an India-based broker gives us direct proximity to this market and its buyers.
The Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships entered into force in June 2025. We support transactions with yards that meet the applicable compliance requirements.
Owners still trading their vessels may also consider our ship sale and purchase brokerage or dry bulk chartering services.
